Yes. Every student who completes the course with a 75% or greater average receives a certificate of completion.
No. Phase 1 of the Course currently only offers the Theoretical Component. In-car driving will be launched in phase 2.
No. Only students at the high school level get the course tuition-free. However, everyone who wants to do the course must pay a mandatory administrative fee. The administrative fee is used to cover expenses for website upkeep and maintenance and also covers course certificates and the course textbook- “ The Jamaica Drivers Education Handbook”.

No. JDEF offers a self-paced learning course that can be done at your convenience. It is mobile-friendly, therefore, all you need is a cell phone, tablet, or PC and an internet connection.
The course is 10 – 15 hours in length.
Yes, you can start your online lessons before getting your learner's license. We recommend that you take it, however, you will need the learner's license before starting car driving lessons.
